Our History
Birth of the Idea
In the face of global and national challenges, a group of technology experts and scientists came together around a common vision: to use science as a means of empowerment and national strengthening. This is how the idea of HENK was born - to support those affected by war, especially wounded and disabled veterans.
Foundation
On April 26, 2021, HENK was officially established as a non-profit foundation. In the first year of operation, the core team was assembled, programs began to be developed in all areas of activity, and collaborative relationships were established with Armenian and international universities, as well as with a number of leading technology companies.
First Successes
In October 2021, our first programs were launched, with beneficiaries mainly being participants of the 44-day war. Alongside web programming and artificial intelligence (AI) courses, participants also received social and rehabilitation support.
